Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Barbados South
The Kiwanis Club of Barbados South is a member of Kiwanis International, a worldwide service organisation, and is one of eight Kiwanis clubs in Barbados. The club was organised in September 1989 and chartered in March 1990.
The club is a member of the Eastern Canada and Caribbean District of Kiwanis International and falls under Division 27. The members strive to fulfill the vision of Kiwanis International of improving the world one child and one community at a time.
The club currently meets at the Southern Palms Beach Hotel, St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, Barbados, every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. for an evening of fun, fellowship and education. Club meetings traditionally are designed to be interesting, informative and entertaining. Interactive participation is encouraged.

NEW K-KIDS CLUB CHARTERED
The Kiwanis Club of Barbados South has added a new club to its list of sponsored SLP clubs with the chartering of a K-Kids club at the Warrens Primary School on September 29, 2017.
The club consisting of fifteen charter members, ages 5 to 11, elected its charter board of directors on Friday, October 27, 2017. They are:
President: Danielle Rowe
Vice President: Kayla Haynes
Secretary: Chloe Leacock
Treasurer: Lance Burrowes
Sergeant-at-Arms: Nathan Forbes
At present they are two faculty advisors: Ms Sherry Lovell, a teacher and Ms Cadesha Rouse, Administrative Assistant.
