QEH Says Thanks to
Kiwanis South

The Kiwanis Club of Barbados South continues to support organizations in need and to give back to communities. The club recently donated a Hitachi 32-inch television to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Club President Zelma Daisley says she was elated to be part of the presentation and to see the smile that the gift brought to the face of the head nurse who received it.

The television she explained was donated after the club visited a Kiwanian who was hospitalized on the ward (B6) and realized that there was nothing there for them to watch and feel relaxed.

“The television she thought would allow the patients to build a stronger spirit and keep them up to date with the current news, and other developments,” she noted

High praises were ushered on Immediate Past President Trevor Alleyne who coordinated the donation.
